Magic is about working with energy. All around is free energy, which can be manifested to form concrete event or object in the world. This energy follows the structure of our world and creates structures based on the structure (the seed), or the incident. The structure of the world is contained within the structure of the energy itself.
Energy is required in order to change anything in the universe. It is potential for change and is converted when change occurs. There are energy fields in our world that we know something about – electric, magnetic and gravitational fields. The energy itself can be divided into several types depending on its occurrence:
- Electromagnetic (Radiant)
- Chemical
- Elastic
- Mechanical
- Gravitational
- Thermal
- Acoustic
These energies achieve change by radiation, reaction, motion, heat and sound. It's all the same energy but in different manifestation.
The world is constantly undergoing change (evolution). The more defined manifestations of energy change slower, the less defined change quicker.
Through the practice of magic, a more direct contact is achieved. A magician can tap directly into unformed spontaneous energy to manifest events or objects (or anything imaginable). A mage uses Will to manifest energy. So does any human. However, the mage concentrates his/her energy achieving greater Will, being able to operate smoothly through the energy and practicing direct manifestation of energy.
Magician's Essential Qualities
Will (power, energy) – Will is magician's power. Power raises the effect of spells, rituals or any magic performed by the user.
Intent (direction, energy) – Intent is about having clear objective, achieving desires result. Raise intent to raise effectiveness of magic.
Intellect (potential) – Intellect is magician's capacity for creativity. Increase intellect to increase magical potential.
